After our succesful 1st run of our workshops in March, we were game for more fun with sensory play and well-loved children’s literature. Of course, our children are our best contributors in this aspect. My (Chiao Chyi’s) boys love Hervé Tullet’s interactive books that encourage them to point, press, rub and so on. Isn’t that a sensory extension element in that book too? 🙂 So our minds went on churning ideas for the workshop, and my, there were so many possibilities that we had to narrow it down to just a few!
We’ll let the photos do the talking! We had as much fun as the kids as we painstakingly made sure that every activity and prop used would enhance the learning, reading and sensory play process for the kids! The highlight of our day? Watching the clingy kids ease into the session with song, and then get so engrossed with play that they “forget” about Mommy for that 90-minute session. We really love to spend time with your kids and engage them in books and sensory play!
