Mikheev Birds - Toucan

The Toucan, an easily recognisable bird by any child after a trip to the bird park! We love how well Mikheev has crafted, painted & shaped this gorgeous Toucan! The colors are vibrant & distinctly painted.

In real life, the toco toucan is the largest of all toucans at ard 60cm. Its black body and white throat iconic, yet easily and commonly overshadowed by its most recognizable trait: a large colorful beak.

The bright orange beak is around 1/3 of the bird’s total length. Composed of the protein, keratin, the structure of the Toucan’s beak incorporates many air pockets allowing for a very low mass.
