Children learn best through doing & making things, so use these hands-on Sight Word Stamps with Playdough & let them stamp these words out in the dough. Help them sound out & learn these high frequency words through repetition & fun.
Offer mutiple mediums for learning: Use the word stamps on Playdough, use them on Kinetic sand, use them with paint, or even on cookie dough that you can bake & eat for a snack! Just imagine eating sight words cookies while learning abt them! The rule is simple: let the kids stamp away!
Young children are encouraged to memorise these high frequency words as a whole by sight, so that they can swiftly and automatically recognize these words without having to use any reading strategies to decode these commonplace words.
When you get your hands on them, you’ll notice how tactile they are as well. You can touch and feel the distinct outline of each letter of the sight word too! Try it out for yourselves, folks.
