We will read, play and learn with "A Squash and a Squeeze" by Julia Donaldson

Join us for a delightful adventure this October as we engage in sensory play, song and story together. Interactive play in learning allows a child greater exposure and engagement that is integral to language development in the early years. Our Mission is to ignite a love for stories, words and reading through hands on fun in learning!

Julia Donaldson's well-loved "A Squash and a Squeeze" is story filled with humour as farm animals squeeze into a little old lady's house to help her learn a lesson about contentment! Her house isn't so much a squash and a squeeze after all...come and find out why!

 

Programme:

  • Warm-Up Sensory Play Table for on the farm exploration! 
  • Music and Movement
  • Interactive Storytime as we read "A Squash and a Squeeze" by Julia Donaldson
  • Playdough invitation-to-create based on "A Squash and A Squeeze"

Our storytime crew is pumped up and hopes to ignite a love for stories, words and reading through hands on fun with kids. ;)

  • Time: Session 1 - 10am-11am 
               Session 2 - 1130am-1230pm

  • Workshop Fee: $45 per pax OR Sign up with a friend - $80 for 2 pax!

  • Recommended Age: 3-7 years of age

  • Maximum number of participants - 10
  • All take-home materials are included in the package. Your child will bring home all the creations made with our taste-safe scented playdough. All creations made can be brought home for continued imaginative play & storytelling! 

This can be a Parent-accompanied session. If your child is independent enough to be dropped off, it's ok too! Just let us know. 

Please note that we would need a minimum of 5 pax to conduct the storytime sessions. A full refund will be given otherwise. So, gather your friends and come along!
